Senior IAM & Active Directory Engineer

Location : McLean, VA / Plano, TX / Richmond, VA (Any location)
Work Model : Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior IAM Operations Engineer with strong expertise in Identity & Access Management (IAM), Active Directory, AWS, and cloud infrastructure operations. This is a highly operational role focused on maintaining, automating, and improving IAM services while ensuring platform reliability, security, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support enterprise Identity & Access Management (IAM) operations.
• Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Active Directory environments.
• Automate operational processes using scripting and infrastructure automation tools.
• Execute infrastructure rehydration, rebuilds, and recovery activities.
• Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments.
• Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation.
• Work with AWS cloud services to support secure and scalable infrastructure.
• Utilize Git and Jenkins for source control and deployment automation.
• Monitor system health, performance, and availability using observability tools such as New Relic.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability of IAM services.
• Collaborate with cloud, security, infrastructure, and application teams to support operational requirements.
• Support user onboarding, offboarding, and access lifecycle management.
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous operational improvements.
• Follow SRE best practices to improve system reliability and operational efficiency.

• Experience with infrastructure rehydration and rebuild activities
• Experience supporting cloud security operations in enterprise environments
