Your Role as an Independent Psychologist on the Mentalzon Platform:

• Expert Psychotherapy: Provide high-quality, evidence-based psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families. You have the freedom to utilize the therapeutic modalities that align with your expertise and your clients' needs.
• Psychological Assessment: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and clarifications, within your scope of practice and expertise.
• Clinical Formulation & Treatment Planning: Develop sophisticated case conceptualizations and collaborative treatment plans that are tailored to each client's unique goals, background, and presenting concerns.
• Professional Documentation: Uphold the highest standards of clinical documentation, ensuring all client records are maintained with accuracy, timeliness, and strict confidentiality in line with HIPAA and Arizona state requirements.
• Ethical Practice Management: Manage your independent practice in strict adherence to the APA's Code of Ethics, Arizona state laws governing the practice of psychology, and all federal regulations including HIPAA. This includes managing your own schedule, client communications, and practice policies.
• Direct Fee Management: Establish your professional fees for psychological services and manage billing and payments directly with your clients.

Requirements to Join Our Phoenix Network:

• Education: A doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology from an APA-accredited program or equivalent, meeting the requirements for licensure in Arizona.
• Licensure: Crucially, you must hold a current, active, and unrestricted license to practice psychology independently, issued by the Arizona Board of Psychologist Examiners.
• Experience: Demonstrated post-licensure experience providing psychotherapy and/or psychological assessment services.
