Salary: $79,040 - 85,204 per year Requirements:

• We require strong expertise with Trapeze transit software; this is essential.
• We need proficiency in Active Directory, relational databases, preferably MS SQL Server, and networking concepts.
• We expect familiarity with our core IT environment, including cloud services, server virtualization, and application delivery controllers.
• We look for a solid understanding of computer, server, network, printer, and peripheral hardware.
• We need experience supporting Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows Server 2012 and 2016, as well as Microsoft Office applications.
• We value excellent communication and sound decision-making abilities.
• We prefer candidates with experience using desktop, server, and network management tools.
• We prefer experience working with Cisco switches and routers.
• We prefer familiarity with backup and disaster recovery practices.

• We provide Trapeze software guidance along with desktop, server, and network support for client operations in line with service level agreements.
• We handle desktop and server repairs, network upkeep, help desk tickets, disaster recovery activities, and other assigned projects.
• We support analog, digital, and VOIP phone systems, as well as T-1, fax, and DSL lines.
• We troubleshoot and support transit-related technologies, including mobile data terminals, in-vehicle tablets, and the Trapeze reservation platform.
• We manage local division servers, including domain controllers, file servers, application servers, and MS SQL Server databases.
• We meet with client agencies to provide updates and operational reports for the local division office.
• We maintain close coordination with the clients IT department.
• We manage complex IT initiatives, supervise IT staff, and work with outside vendors.
• We develop strategic IT operations and investment plans by evaluating costs, benefits, opportunities, and risks.
• We work to control and reduce expenses.
• We ensure IT operations and software development documentation is complete and kept current.

We are MV Transportation, a fast-paced transit organization seeking a self-starter IT Help Desk Support professional to assist with technology needs in a transit environment while supporting our corporate infrastructure.
