Bread Production Assistant

Quince is a three Michelin-starred restaurant dedicated to thoughtful hospitality, exceptional ingredients, and meticulous craftsmanship. We are seeking a passionate Bread Production Assistant to join our pastry and bakery team. This role supports the daily production of our house-made breads while maintaining the highest standards of quality, consistency, and organization. • Assist with the daily production of house-made breads and laminated doughs.
• Scale, mix, divide, shape, proof, and bake bread according to established standards.
• Prepare ingredients and maintain daily mise en place.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
• Properly label, store, and rotate products following food safety standards.
• Support the pastry and culinary teams with production projects as needed.
• Execute all tasks with consistency, efficiency, and attention to detail.

• Previous professional bakery, pastry, or kitchen experience preferred.
• Passion for artisan bread and fermentation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Availability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
